How many of you find yourself extremely busy? I know you will agree with me when I say there never seems to be enough hours in the day for all that needs to be done. If you are like me, you even have a "to do list" to help you get through the endless items that need to be addressed in the course of a day.
The question is...are you really doing what God wants you to do. Yes there are pressing needs, but are they leading you to the place where you need to be in your life? Will doing them help you get closer to fulfilling your purpose?
God has great expectations for His children, and because He has a purpose for each of our lives, we need to constantly ask Him, is this what I need to do, or is this where I should be going? Asking is easy...listening and waiting for the answer is another.
Jesus said "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. " Luke 11:9,10
Let us begin to ask Him what we should be doing and how we can make a greater impact for His kingdom. Let us seek His face in every endeavor we undertake so that our purpose is sure. Let's wait with great expectation for the answers that will come if we wait on the Lord and be of good courage.
